Course Overview

• To equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to assess and report on the conformance and effective implementation of an Information Security management system in accordance with ISO 19011.
• Describe the responsibilities of an internal auditor and describe the role of internal audit in the maintenance and improvement of management systems, in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO 17021
• Understand the operation of an Asset Management System based on ISO 55001 and its principal processes
• Understand the goal, Overview and correlation between ISO 55001, ISO 55002 and other standards and regulatory frameworks
• Understand an auditor’s role in planning, leading and following-up on a management system audit in accordance with ISO 19011
• Acquire the competencies to plan an audit, lead an audit, draft reports, and follow up on an audit in compliance with ISO 19011
• Strengthen personal skills necessary for an auditor to act with due professional care during an audit
• Gain insight into the ISO 55001:2014 audit requirements to augment/sustain existing program.
• Gain knowledge to help manage a successful ISO 55001:2014 implementation project
